Decentralized Infrastructure
Node Clusters
Social canisters are hosted on node clusters, the top-level architectural building block of ICP. Each cluster comprises 13 nodes and operates as an independent blockchain, hosting social smart contracts and processing transactions for specific applications.
These are distributed across the globe across enterprise-grade hardware in established data centers. A cluster can securely host tens of thousands of social smart contracts, collectively managing hundreds of gigabytes of data.
With ICP’s subnet architecture, node clusters achieve enhanced security, scalability, and performance across the network.
Trustless Hosting
No Centralized Oversight: Eliminates reliance on centralized servers or intermediaries, providing full autonomy to developers and projects and increasing resilience.
Transparent Operations: All hosting activities are visible on-chain, enabling verifiability and enhancing trust between users and applications. With ICP’s blockchain architecture, hosting and execution transparency is maintained at the protocol level.
Censorship Resistance: Hosting on DOLR AI’s decentralized infrastructure with one canister per user ensures that no single entity can control or suppress applications or data, significantly reducing the risk of censorship and fostering free expression.
